How PPT began?
Owners, Chris and Susan Peterson, have a combined 50 years experience in the field of Physical Therapy. After multiple years working in acute care they made the jump to outpatient and haven’t looked back. Unfortunately, they found that many clinics they worked for placed unreasonable emphasis on productivity requirements and high volume over quality care. They saw a trend happening where burnout was causing more and more therapists to leave the profession. In 2013, they decided to be part of the solution by opening PPT and have made it a priority to serve both their clients and their staff with the consideration they had searched for in other employers.
What PPT does differently?
Chris and Susan have committed to providing their staff and their clients with the time it takes to truly connect and listen to each other. PPT understands that taking the clients’ individual lifestyle, goals, personality, and motivation is essential to successful outcomes. The best way Chris and Susan have found to achieve this is by providing one on one visits to every client that walks in the door.
What to expect as a team member at PPT?
PPT holds weekly staff meetings where our staff, both clinical and admin, has the opportunity to review current clients, practice treatment techniques, express concerns and problem solve, discuss billing/insurance changes as needed, go over plans for continuing education options, and sometimes we just take the opportunity to grab lunch and catch up.
